Katherine is a PhD Student at Virginia Tech and visiting scholar at the Czech Geological Survey under a Fulbright Research Grant. Her research focuses on aquatic biogeochemistry, particularly in understanding carbon dynamics and how environmental factors influence and alter ecosystem function.
