Abstract

Nine solitary corals from the Late Cenomanian sediments of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin are described and discussed in this paper. These corals are poorly known representatives of the genera Leptophyllia, Leptophyllaraea, and Neothecoseris, and constitute the new taxon Leptophyllia separata sp. n. (suborder Microsolenina, family Synastreidae). The species Dimorphastraea parallela (Reuss) has been transferred to the genus Synastrea. Microphyllia gemina sp. n., a new species of the family Latomeandridae, is described. Some comments on the species Synhelia gibbosa (Siderastreidae) of the Early Turonian age are added.
