Abstract

SEM-EDX examination of siliceous stromatolites and chromsilexites from the Kokä.n locality revealed an exceptional assemblage of accessory minerals that are the main carriers of minor and trace elements as V, Cr, REEs, Ba, Pb, Sr, Se, Ti, Cu, Ag, Co, and P. Some of the minerals belong to rare species at all (e. g. sulvanite, tyrrellite, eskebornite, athabascaite, chromphyllite, florencite-(Nd), florencite-(La), monazite-(Nd), monazite-(La), plumbogummite). Beside the accessories, ferro-actinolite having the composition close to the ideal Fe2+-end member of the tremolite- ferro-actinolite series has also been found in quartz-veinlets traversing the chromsilexites.
