Abstract

Two excellently preserved encrusting colonies have been found in the Úpohlavy section. Both colonies developed large gonozooecia with small ooeciopore situated in the middle of the distal margin. Due to the perforation of the gonozooecia by autozooecia, the specimens belong to Plagioecia. There are no similar species already described from Cretaceous of surrounding areas, but due to the lack of more material, no new species can be erected.
