Abstract

Landslides were studied in the game-preserve Hukvaldy and its close surroundings during 2006-2010. Engineering-geological mapping was performed at scale of 1 : 10 000. Large instable areas with deep-seated creep and sliding deformations are typical for the studied area in the Podbeskydská pahorkatina upland. In most cases, the landslides are old, suspended, but locally recent, temporarily inactive or active landslides may occur.
