Abstract

Transparent rock crystal and smoky quartz pods and lenses up to meter size in the mica schists and in the paragneisses of the Monotonous group of the Southern and Western part of the Bohemian Massif together with the quartz samples from Jablonec nad Nisou surroundings, contain planar deformational features (PDF), generally of several orientations, outlined by the milky quartz sometimes with indications of the pillar structure. Frequent association of the PDFs with the oriented kyanite on the quartz pods rims points to the shock and compressional stage development of the Bohemian Massif astrobleme.
