Abstract

A new find of the cassiterite-wolframite mineralization i been discovered in an excavation near Jeřmanice, south of Liberec in Northern Bohemia. Contact-metamorphosed Lower Palaeozoic phyllites are cut by quartz veins with abundant wolframite and less frequent cassiterite, close to the contact of the Tanvald granite. Phyllites are intensively tourmalinized along the margin of quartz veins.
