Abstract

This paper presents first results of research of the slope deformation DolníZálezly- Dubický Hill. The site is situated in the morphologically distinct Labe/Elbe river valley between cities Lovosice and Ústí nad Labem. The locality is built by Tertiary neovolcanites of České středohoří Mts. The main goal of the ongoing research is to evaluate detailed mapping and geodetic monitoring of the slope deformation, which is potentially danger of important transport communications and buildings. The slope deformation was developed by combination of rock fall and landslide activity probably in the last century. Potentially danger represents especially huge rock blocks in unconsolidated scree accumulation in the middle part of the slope. In this part were found the cracks with ice caves too. Selected morphometric characteristics were derived from DEM based on terrestrial laser scanning and trigonometric measurements.
