Abstract

Specimens of uranium ore were found in relics of a waste dump by an abandoned uranium mine. They include quartz-carbonate veins with uraninite, coffinite, and small grains of clausthalite and chalcopyrite. Carbonates are represented by calcite and dolomite. Clausthalite represents the third discovery of selenides in the uranium deposits of the Krkonoše Mountains.
