Abstract

During the study of natural hazards the Quaternary sediments were investigated. They are developed in intramontane depressions, in flood plains and particularly at the foots of slopes. Along the La Trinidad River three levels of gravelly fluvial aggradations with the base 10, 20 and 30 m above the river are preserved. Large polycyclic alluvial fans are well expressed.
