Abstract

The Baška development of the Silesian unit has a broader distribution as it was supposed early. It represents the fully developed succession of the Upper Jurassic up to Early Paleocene rocks (it means with fully developed Těšín-Hradiště Formation) with frequent slump bodies with clasts of the Štramberk Limestone. Its equivalents on the polish territory are probably parts of the Klippen Unit (Klippe of Innvald, which are similar to Kojetín Member etc).
