Lenz, Oskar Prof. born 1848 Leipzig, died 1925, Soos bei Baden Austrian geologist and petrographer of German origin. Since 1872, he was member of the Imperial Geological Institute in Vienna. He participated in the investigation and mapping of the territory of Bohemia and Croatia. In 1887 - 1907 he was professor of petrography at the German University in Prague. He took part in expeditions to Greenland and Africa. |
