Abstract

A report on preliminary revision of class Cirripedia (Burmeister, 1846) from sediments of the rocky coast facies at Velim (Upper Cenomanian-Lower Turonian, southern margin of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin) is presented. About 153 cirriped plates were gained from the Lower Turonian sediments of the western part of the locality during field works in 2001-2011. Material from the eastern part of the locality represent 97 plates of cirripeds, which were gained by washing and sieving of probably Upper Cenomanian material from the National Museum in Prague. From the taxonomical point of view a material is represented by two species from the eastern part Zeugmatolepas sp. and Arcoscalpellum angustatum (Geinitz, 1843) and three species from the western part: Zeugmatolepas sp., Arcoscalpellum angustatum and Cretiscalpellum glabrum (Roemer, 1841).
