Abstract
In Paleogene sediments of the Flysch Belt of West Carpathians in Morava volcanic and volcanoclastic rocks of teschenite association appear. In contrast to sedimentary rocks which represent a porous or fissure-porous rock medium, teschenites have exclusively fissure permeability. In some areas they are a relatively favorable medium for groundwater, particularly as infiltration zones.
