Abstract

The study of the Triassic and Jurassic brachiopod fauna near the Triassic/Jurassic boundary continued at the classical locality of Fonsjoch and in the vicinity of Hinterriss in Tyrol. New sampling was carried out in the Liassic of Grimming Mt. and in the southern parts of the Totes Gebirge Mts. (Styria). In the western Salzkammergut, the Carnian brachiopods Adygella bittneri (Wöhrmann) were documented for the first time from the Cardita-Beds in the Mitterweissenbach valley, N of Bad Ischl.
