Abstract

The studied locality is situated near Kolín, central Bohemia. The author investigated foraminiferal taphocenoses from a depression in the paleo-relief, which was filled by Lower Turonian siltstones. Benthic foraminifera indicate paleodepths 50-100 m. The relative abundance of Praebulimina spp. Suggests sedimentary environment with oxygen deficiency.
