Indoor and soil gas radon relationship in Domažlice district and Prachatice district

Abstract
The indoor-soil gas radon concentration relationship was studied in West Bohemian districts Domažlice and Prachatice using ArcGIS projection of 1386 indoor radon data to vectorised contours of geological units at a scale of 1 : 50 000. The results confirmed generally the positive regression of indoor radon data to soil gas radon data. However this relationship on granitic bedrock strongly depends on the local radiometric characteristics of various granitic types. The results of this study correspond to similar studies from Bavaria.
