Abstract

In the course of the geological mapping of the area between Borová Lada and Březník metamorphic and granitic rocks were petrologically and structurally studied. The metamorphic rocks are represented by migmatitic paragneisses, the granitic rocks by Weinsberg type and Eisgarn type granites, amphibole-biotite diorite and by the dykes of aplitic granite and granite porphyry. Two deformation phases, corresponding to metamorphic foliations S1 and S2, have been recognised in migmatitic paragneisses. The character of the contacts and magmatic fabric of the granitic intrusions show their structural position.
