Abstract

Field work and preliminary study of the brachiopod fauna were made at some Triassic/Jurassic boundary sections in Salzkammergut and Tyrol. In comparison with the relatively rich Upper Triassic brachiopod fauna, the Lowermost Jurassic brachiopod assemblages are scarce and monotonous. The study of the Mesozoic brachiopods in the UNESCO World Heritage area Hallstatt-Dachstein, Salzkammergut continued.
