Abstract

This brief report presents two new finds of local accumulations of organic remains in the Koneprusy Limestone. Both finds come from the locality Certovy schody-East Quarry (VCS-E) situated S of the Koneprusy village. The most abundant component of the fauna are trilobites and gastropods belonging to the reef scutelluid-proetid and Tubina-Pseudotectus assemblages. The character of the new accumulations reflects the transport of a major part of the organic remains from a close vicinity of the original deposition of the sediments.
