Abstract

The problematics of landslide chronology stands for an important field of geomorphological investigations in the area of Outer Western Carpathians (Silesian Beskydy Mts. and Vsetínské vrchy Mts.); in particular, in connection with the concequences of the research of the impact of climatic change to morphogenetic processes. Three samples of bottom material of intercoluvial peat bog on the right slope of Kotelnice Brook valley (near town Jablunkov) and fourty information pollen analysis samples (four boreholes) of Vsetínské vrchy Mts. (Kobylská - Horní jezero: KJ1/1, KJ1/3 and Vaculov - Sedlo: VJ1, VJ2/2) have been dated by pollen analysis and radiocarbon method (V Kotelnici peat bog; Gd: Radiocarbon Laboratory Silesian Technical University, Gliwice, Poland).
