Abstract

Based on the boreholes, paleo-heights and paleovalleys of the mid-Cretaceous age were distinguished in the Poděbrady-Spa area. In the Cenomanian, paleovalleys were filled with fluvial, estuarine and shallow marine sediments in a transgressive order. Tectono-sedimentary history of the Nymburk paleovalley was influenced by reactivated Variscan faults (Poděbrady and Kolín faults) in the mid-Cretaceous.
