Aeromagnetic indications of volcanic rocks in the Šluknov area (the absolute magnetic minimum near Krásná Lípa)

Abstract

Aeromagnetic measurements at l : 25 000 scale of North Bohemia (Šluknov area) indicated several unknown volcanic bodies. They have often the inverse magnetization with the extremely negative amplitude. Author describes the results of the ground magnetometry. A minimum 'delta'T about -7000 nT has been located. It represents the absolute magnetic minimum of a geological body that has been measured in the Czech Republic.
