Abstract

Radon activity concentration in soil air measurements .ire applied in geological investigation and radon risk mapping. Uniformity and reliability of radon estimates, carried out by various Instruments, technique of soil gas sampling and data processing, is essential for site radon assessment. New 3 natural geological radon reference sites of various radon levels in soil air, Cetyně (31 kBq/m3), Bohostice (52 kBq/m3) and Buk (155 kBq/m3), have been established in tne region of Příbram-Milín, central Bohemia, Czech Republic. Testing of reliability of radon data is based on the measurement of 15 stations at each reference site and data processing by the programme TestMOAR, based on statistical analysis.
