Abstract

Field works and preliminary study of the sporomorphs, dinoflagellate cysts, foraminifers and calcareous nannofossils have been made in the Stramberk-Kotouč quarry, Hukvaldy, Jasenice (Baška development), and Bystrá (Godula development) in the Silesian Unit of the Outer Western Carpathians. Late Albian-Cenomanian and Valanginian-Barremian microfossil associations have been distinguished in the Štramberk-Kotouč quarry and Late Cenomanian assemblage in the Bystrá outcrop.
