Abstract
Micropaleontological analyses were used in geological exploration for distinguishing the Tertiary clayey and coarser clastic sediments, occurring as isolated relics, from the Carboniferous and Quaternary lithologically similar deposits. The review of the author's localities studied in the last several decades and the identified micro-plant communities are summarized and updated.
