Abstract

Quaternary sediments in Brdy Mts., locality Plešivec, are represented by organic-clay characters. During the year 2002, palynological research was started in this archaeological locality. These accompanying trees (e.g. Pinus, Betula, Picea, Ables, Quercus) substitute the typical forest vegetation in Brdy Mts, area. Human impact is represented by anthropogenic plants (only Cerealia, Centaurea cyanus). The stratigraphical position of the 4 samples from the archaeological layers is the Holocene (Subboreal 5100-2300 years B.P. to Subatlantic 2800/2300 years B.P.-recent).
