Abstract

The nappe structure in the NW limb of Barrandian Neoproterozoic, postulated already 77 years ago but then mostly neglected, has been confirmed by new investigations. In contradiction to the original model, however, the 'spilite' unit is considered as allochthonous, being transported from NE to SW and thrust ovet the 'phtanite' unit.
