Abstract

Migmatites from the area beteen Humpolec and Jihlava originated by partial melting of biotite and sillimanite-biotite paragneisses. The source of water for the partial melting was dehydration melting of muscovite and biotite in original protolith. Migmatites in this area represented by medium grained, stromatitic migmatites, less often by nebulitic migmatites. In consequence of the partial melting of original protolith quartz-feldspar cumulates were formed, which caused the higher contents of K2O, SiO2, Rb, U and Eu in leucosome of these migmatites in comparison with their contents in original paragneisses.
