Abstract

Chemistry and isotopic composition of carbonates from hydrothermal veins in Culm of the Nízký Jeseník Upland and Oderské vrchy Mts. were studied. Isotopic compositions of carbon and oxygen from veins carbonates indicate origin by hydrotherms in Culm clastic sediments. Meteoric waters represent the dominant part of hydrothermal solutions. The studied carbonates (calcite, small part of dolomite) crystallize probably at temperatures between 100-130 °C.
