Abstract

The research is dealing with an analysis of ostracod fauna from 2 meter-long sequence of lacustrine sediments of the Cejc Lake. The base of the lake is dated by radiocarbon to 9,990+- 275y B.P. The present results ahev shown an occurrence of about 20 species of ostracods. The coexistence and the occurrence of particular species considerably vary from the lowest diversity or even absence of any species on top of the profile to the highest abundance - of about 15 species in a depth of 140-145 cm below the ground. The ostracod assemblage consists of species with various ecological requirements - these relations and their development are objects of futher research.
