Abstract

Zlatý kůň - cave C 718 locality was revised as a part of reviewing the fossil record of the Family Castoridae Gray, 1821 in Český kras area (Bohemian Karst). Layer H as the source of these fossils represents interglacial period and its thermophilous sylvan forms. It is the youngest segment of mammalian stage Biharian. The filling of cavity C 718 represents the complex of oldest mammalian fauna at Koněpruské jeskyně (K. caves). The stratigraphical range of this filling is Cromerian-Elsterian. Osteological and odontological material collected in this locality, was determined and documented. The detailed morphometric research was accomplished along with.
