Abstract

During the geological mapping on the sheet 03-143 Liberec, magnetic anomalies found previously by the aerial mapping have been confirmed both in the city of Liberec and its surroundings. Moreover, occurrence of neovolcanites penetrating the granitoids of the Krkonoše-Jizera massif in the form of veins or small crater vents have been newly localized by the surface magnetometry. These volcanites consists mainly of basanites, limburgites, nephelinites, and basaltoids.
