Abstract

The temporary exposures excavated during the construction of the subway line A at Praha - Červený vrch (Vokovice) have been documented. The deeper-water, poorly diversified association) of the lowermost part of the Corymbograptus retroflexus Zone consists of infrequent graptolites (Corymbograptus retroflexus, Didymograptus (s.l.) stanislavi, Aulograptus cucullus, Undulograptus novaki and Undulograptus sp.), phyllocarid crustaceans Caryocaris subula and Caryocaris wrighti, orthocone cephalopods and brachiopods. Ichnofossils, unexpectedly common at some layers, are represented by ichnogenera Spirophycus, IDidymaulichnus, Planolites, and lArenicolites.
