Abstract

In the Vítkov quarry (southern of the Sokolov town) biotite-muscovite granites together with distinctly rare topaz-albite granites occur. All granite types are part of the Krudum granite body. This granite body is relatively independent part of the Karlovy Vary-Eibenstock pluton. Investigated biotite-muscovite granites are peraluminous with accessory occurrence of topaz, higher LREE/HREE ratio and pronounced negative Eu anomaly. The topaz-albite granites are also peraluminous, with distinctly higher en- richment in Rb (900-1030 ppm) and depletion in Ba and Th
