Abstract

Calcareous dinoflagellate cysts were discovered in thin sections of the marlstones of the Turonian and Lower Coniacian age. This represents the first record of this microfossils in the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Deposits come from the boreholes situated in the eastern part of this basin. Because of scarce materials the dinoflagellate cysts were described as individual morphotypes. Some of them possibly belong to the genera Cadosina and Colomisphaera.
