Abstract

We propose chemostratigraphy approach employing cation-exchange capacity and K/Al element ratios for description of the Miocene sediments of the Most Formation. The correlation scheme has been proven for Chomutov, Most and Bílina areas of the Most Basin. It is discussed in terms of previous stratigraphic schemes for the Most Basin.
