Abstract

The paper is aimed on the monitoring of the landslide activity of slope deformation near Třebenice town (NW Bohemia) in 2013. Above-average and intense precipitation were registered in May and June of this year. Landslide area is situated on the southeast edge of the České středohoří Mts., near the border of the České středohoří volcanic complex and sedimentary Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. The landslide activity is monitored by longterm control measurement of fluctuations of groundwater level and by extensometer tape for measurement of surface deformations. The data are primarily correlated with precipitation from the meteorological stations. The road surface and its new deformations are newly monitored by geodetic methods. These deformations are observed in context with increased landslide activity after above-average precipitation in 2013.
