Cenomanian profile in the locality Motyčín in Kladno (Central Bohemia) and its importance for correlation of the Korycany Member

Abstract

The description of the Cenomanian sandstone of the Motyčín rock in Kladno is provided. Its lithological character, which shows some similarities with the Korycany Member sandstone from both Pecínov and Kralupy, together with intermediated geographical position between the two localities emphasize its importance for possible correlation in a larger area.
