Geochemistry and mineralogy of spilites from Slatina-Pavlíkov belt in the Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area
AbstractBoth variolitic and masive spilites belong to alkaline series in the Slatina-Pavlíkov belt. Theirs alkaline basaltic composition is consistent with inter-plate paleotectonic setting. Other studied spilitic rocks fall in the subalkaline series with high numbers of the mg# index, lower contents of Ti, P, Zr, very low concentrations of Rb, Nb, REE, especially LREE and primitive flat curve of the REE distribution. These spilites have composition corresponding to MORB paleotectonic setting.
