The hydrogeolocical researchrealized by the Czech Geological Survey in Nicaragua and Costarica in 2008
Abstract
This contribution refers to results of hydrogeological reserch carried out by specialists of the Czech Geological Survey in Nicaragua and Costarica in 2008. Research was focused on hydrochemical evaluation of water quality in areas effected by mining activity (Costarica) and of local water sources within the mapped area (Nicaragua). While samples taken in the mining district in Costarica show suitable composition several water sources in Nicaragua were qualified as unsuitable due to a high As content
