Abstract

Accumulation of coarse-grained deposits of laharic agglomerates has been studied by the author in southern slopes of the Doupov volcanic complex. These agglomerates were produced several times within and after eruptions of Oligocene Doupov volcanic apparatus, transported in narrow valleys, subsequently being deposited at the foots of the mountain. Medieval mining activities of unknown purpose were located in friable laharic agglomerates and ash-fall deposits, recently documented in the Valeč historical site.
