Abstract

We present preliminary results of structural and magnetic fabric analyses of two compositionally zoned porphyry dykes which intruded granitoids of the Central Bohemian Plutonic Complex. The dykes are oriented NW-SE and W-E with very steep dip. In general, our magnetic fabric results show: (i) a relatively low degree of magnetic anisotropy, (ii) mostly oblate (planar) fabric, especially in central parts of the intrusive bodies, and (iii) various orientations of magmatic flow. During their emplacement the studied dykes utilized the pre-existing extensional joints of perpendicular orientation to the regional fabric pattern.
