Cretaceous sediments overlying metamorphics of the Oparno Valley

Abstract

Large new outcrops, originated by the construction of D8 highway near Oparno (Northern Bohemia) were documented and described. The Korycany Member and Bílá hora Formation overlie the metamorphics of the Oparno crystalline complex. Three main joint systems were found in the Korycany Member sandstones.
