Abstract

A new outcrop of the Mlčechvosty conglomerate (Middle Pleistocene terrace of the Vltava River) was studied. The petrology and sedimentology of the braided river deposit as well as the character of its contact with the underlying Upper Cretaceous marlstones (Bílá hora Formation) is described.
