Abstract

Cretaceous sediments mainly occur in the eastern surroundings of Lysá nad Labem and in the southern part of the map sheet area. The Bílá Hora Formation and Jizera Formation were observed in the outcrops, the Peruc-Korycany Formation was verified in the core libraries. These sediments belong to Jizera development of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. They are in part covered by Quaternary fluviatile sediments of Labe River. Cretaceous sediments are not tectonically disturbed.
