Abstract

The study concerns slope development in the geomorphological region of Ondřejník Hill in Podbeskydy hilly country. Engineering-geological maps 1:10 000 of stability conditions and derived prognostic slope movement susceptibility maps were prepared. The most extensive and complex landslide area was found on slopes oriented to the East. There is a characteristic phenomenon of the Ondřejník deformation - disruption of a flat field at the synclinal chine where even a graben-like structure developed.
