Abstract

The unique complex of the historical Strahov Monastery area is located in very special hydrogeological conditions. The long-term ground-water exploitation has led to the creation of a very special system of drainage-galleries, water-pipelines and especially of the water-reservoir in the Garden of Eden in the Courtyard of the Strahov Monastery.
