Abstract

One of the well known landslide prone areas in Slovakia is located in Lubietová surroundings on the left side of Hutná stream. The most "popular" large landslide "Za Výselník" which endangered the village in spring of 1977 is regularly monitored since 1993. In spite of stabilization works increasing movement activity have been recorded in the last years. This situation requires higher attention which will be attained by application of modern and effective methods of monitoring. We will use GPS methods during following 3 years to get detail information about surface movements. We will use also digital aerial photogrammetry for to gain complex image about landslide evolution since 1969 to present. Some methodological problems of both used methods will be solved as well.
