Abstract

Based on the vectorized geological maps on a scale of 1:50 000 the Czech Geological Survey published further 40 sheets of detailed radon risk maps. The procedure of map construction as well as the maps' content were already described in Geoscience Research Report for 1999. 40 map sheets completed in 2000 cover the main magmatic bodies of central Bohemia and southern Moravia. Except for the plotter print copies, the maps were trasformed on the CD in GIS mode. The CD contains information on radon risk measurement and geology, on radon programme of the Czech republic and map presentation. The full screen view of each of the 56 completed map sheet can be divided into four quadrants, enabling the detailed view of radon risk from the bedrock together with raster topography and link to radon database.
